Claremont and local communities help kids go back to school!
There’s nothing like going back to school in the fall with a new backpack and new sneakers. It makes kids feel excited and fresh for a new year of learning. It makes them feel confident in how they look to their peers and keeps them comfortable as they play at recess and on the sports field.
A huge thank you to the businesses from Claremont and other local cities who together collected 380 backpacks, each with a new pair of sneakers and school supplies. The “Backpack Campaign” has been a summer tradition for many years, but this year broke the record!
Thanks to your generosity, more kids in Claremont, Pomona, Ontario, Fontana, San Bernardino, Pomona, and Upland will have quality shoes that fit them as they go back to school, ready to learn, play, and thrive!
