We are excited to share a heartwarming initiative that took place recently in the Detroit area, showcasing the Detroit Red Wings' commitment to making a positive impact.
On August 13th, the Detroit Red Wings partnered with four Boys and Girls Clubs across Detroit to bring joy and much-needed support to local youth. We were thrilled to provide 400 kids with brand new shoes, just in time for the back-to-school season!
In addition to receiving their new footwear, the kids participated in an engaging hockey clinic where they honed their skills in stick handling, passing, and shooting. But it wasn’t just about hockey! The event also featured dance and yoga sessions to help the kids stretch and prepare their bodies for the action. The smiles on their faces said it all!
