(Miami, FL. – Jan. 3, 2024)

LIDS is a popular retail outlet that specializes in headware such as: hats, caps, beanies and more! They are widely known for their sportswear and pop culture referenced garments.

This fall, LIDS Foundation partnered with us to bring brand new sneakers to more than 1,700 kids 262 across three cities: Indianapolis, Brockton (a suburb of Boston), and Miami.

And of course, they brought along hats too.

First stop was Indy, at Charles Warren Fairbanks Elementary, where Kenny Moore II of the Colts met the kids and gave out shoes. Coming from a family with seven kids, he says he knows how hard it can be to provide during the holidays.

“I know how tough it was for my mom to get us all the things that we wanted so I had to take the backseat a couple of times to fulfill the needs of my sisters. I know how it feels to have help outside of your household. I know these kids probably don’t understand it now, but hopefully they’ll grow to understand that it takes a village to raise a child.” – Kenny Moore II

Second stop was Brockton, a suburb south of Boston. New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett handed out new kicks to over 755 kids at Mary E. Baker Elementary.

“I love shoes and it always feels good to give kids a pair of shoes. I know how much that means to kids. I’m just so happy to see the smiles on their faces.” – Jacoby Brissett

Third stop was Miami, where 527 kids at Norland Elementary received brand new shoes and hats.

Thank you LIDS for partnering with us and investing in the kids!
