AMY FASS CEO and Executive Director, Shoes That Fit
For more than 25 years, Shoes That Fit’s CEO and Executive Director Amy Fass has lived in Claremont and worked in nonprofit management and development. When the opportunity arose to lead Shoes That Fit—the Claremont-based, national nonprofit that has provided new shoes to lowincome children for over 27 years—Fass saw the potential of the nonprofit and knew she wanted to be a part of it. “When I got to know Shoes That Fit
and heard our founder’s story—she was a struggling, single mom who decided she could make a difference by inspiring her own community to help children at one school in Pomona—I was really moved,” says Fass.
“One of our largest partners is Nordstrom, which provides shoes for over 25,000 children each year. I am heartened to see people’s response. It confirms my belief that people do want to make a difference,” she says.
Fass plans to open a satellite office in Claremont Village soon.
