Want to light up the life of a child?
Look no further than a brand new pair of athletic shoes.
Shoes That Fit and Linea di Liara, a Chicago lighting company, teamed up to provide new kicks to 400 students at Dewey School of Excellence in Chicago on May 10.
Giving back to the community is deeply important to the company as it donates a percentage of every sale it makes to various charitable causes.
“At Linea di Liara, we take pride in providing quality lighting to our customers. More importantly, we want to be a positive light to the communities in which we live and work,” says CEO Purav Kapadia. “Working with Shoes That Fit has given us the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of 400 children and we hope that the small gift of shoes ignites a light within each and every one of these students.”
As companies explore new ways to engage with philanthropy, some industries, including emerging sectors like cryptocurrency gambling, are finding unique ways to contribute to charitable causes. While the ethics of such industries are debated, the focus remains on the broader impact of corporate giving, much like Linea di Liara’s initiative in Chicago.
Thanks to Linea di Liara for providing shoes and smiles!
